As the excitement still burns from the FIA WTCC's final round, the Formula 3 Macau Grand Prix started at 15:30. This is the final race of the 60th Macau Grand Prix, a memorial competition lasting for 2 weeks. The race was held on a street circuit with a length of 6.12 km and young racers from around the world performed an electrifying battle for the last time this season.
The Star River Windsor Arch Formula 3 Macau Grand Prix is the last race this weekend, taking place after the accident-filled FIA WTCC. The grid was determined by yesterday's Qualifying Race with Alex LYNN as the pole sitter and Felix ROSENQVIST and Raffaele MARCIELLO following next.

The usual and famous Lion Dance was performed during the start procedure, and the crowd's voltage reached the max at 15:30 when the 15 lap Final Race started its Formation Lap.

The red light went out at 15:34. The pole sitter LYNN's start wasn't so bad. But ROSENQVIST was lined up by MARCIELLO and Pipo DERANI and took a slight hit.
His suspension took some damage from this and he was quickly removed from the battling line. Furthermore, three cars crashed at the Mandarin Oriental Bend and a safety car had to already enter into the opening lap.

After the safety car lead the first lap, LYNN, DERANI, and Antonio F. DA COSTA were the top 3.

This safety car entered the pit stop at the end of the second lap, and the race restarted from the third lap. LYNN defended his first position, but at the Lisboa Bend, DA COSTA assaulted DERANI and rose to second place. DERANI was losing to MARCIELLO's pressure from behind and finally during the seventh lap at the Lisboa Bend, MARCIELLO passed him and became third place.

In first place LYNN marked times in the 2'12" zone and kept a gap of 2 seconds. Second place DA COSTA was followed by third place MARCIELLO, and perhaps MARCIELLO was pursuing too hard because during the 10th lap at the final corner, he hit the tire barrier, took a lot of damage, and had to retire from the race.

Due to this DERANI rose to third place again, and top racer LYNN wouldn't give up to DA COSTA's struggles and finished in first place. He finished in 3rd place last year but this year became the winner of the Macau Grand Prix.

DA COSTA finished in second place, and DERANI finished in third place.
Many machines went through some crashes and troubles, and in the end 21 cars finished this sensational and intense race.
